Enterprise SEO platform comparison
Vendor-published figures where they exist, named third-party contract data where they do not
Written by Deepak Shukla, founder of Pearl Lemon, the London SEO agency that builds and operates LemRank · last reviewed 20 September 2026
The short answer
Four of the five platforms below are quote-only, and reported contracts run from about $34,000 to $74,000 a year. They are not interchangeable: Botify is a technical crawling product, Conductor is content-led, seoClarity is modular with unlimited users, and BrightEdge is the broadest and most expensive to run. Decide which job you are buying for before you compare prices.
The platforms side by side
| Platform | Reported cost | Strongest at | Weakest at | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BrightEdge | ~$50,000/yr (median) | Breadth of platform and the size of the data operation behind it | Publishes nothing; needs a dedicated owner to earn out | Large in-house SEO teams that will operate a platform properly |
| Conductor | ~$49,500/yr (median) | Content and marketing teams can work in it, and there is a real trial | 500 tracked keywords on the entry plan is modest for the price band | Content-led organic programmes with non-SEO stakeholders |
| seoClarity | ~$34,000/yr (median) | Unlimited users and published module entry pricing | Modular, so a full stack costs far more than the headline | Large teams where seat counts would punish them elsewhere |
| Botify | $74,200/yr (median) | Crawl, rendering and log-file analysis at genuine scale | Not a rank-tracking product; priced on URL count | Very large site estates with engineering capacity to act |
| Semrush Business | $499.95/mo published | Research breadth at a published, self-serve price | 5,000-keyword ceiling and per-seat billing | Teams that need research more than enterprise governance |
Medians are aggregated buyer data from Vendr; Semrush is its own published price. Head-to-heads: BrightEdge vs Conductor, seoClarity vs BrightEdge, BrightEdge vs Semrush.
What to compare on, in order
Keyword allowance, written into the contract
Ask for the tracked-keyword number, the refresh frequency and what happens when you exceed it. Frequency is a cost multiplier at several vendors, so daily checks on a large list are not the same purchase as weekly.
Seat model
Per-seat pricing decides the real cost for a distributed team far more than the headline does. Count every stakeholder who needs read access, not just the SEO practitioners.
What is in the base licence
List the specific capabilities you saw in the demo and require the quote to confirm each one is included. Add-on modules are the single most common source of budget surprise.
Data export and API
If you cannot get your rankings out programmatically, you cannot build your own reporting or leave without losing history. Check rate limits and whether the API is an extra line item.
Historical data on exit
Ask what happens to your position history when the contract ends. Getting a full export in a usable format should be a contractual right, not a favour.
Implementation and support model
Named support, onboarding scope and response times are a large part of what the enterprise premium buys. If they are vague in the quote, they will be vague in year two.
Renewal terms
Cap the uplift and agree the exit notice period before signing. Both are far easier to negotiate at the start than at renewal.
Where LemRank fits, and where it does not
We are a rank tracking, reporting and API product. That means daily positions across large keyword sets, every search engine and AI answer surface included, full data export and an API at every tier — free for 50 keywords, $59/mo on Pro for 5,000, and quoted above that on keywords, domains and markets rather than seats. What we are not: a content workflow platform, a log-file analysis tool, or a replacement for a large backlink index. If those are your requirement, one of the platforms above is the right purchase.
