What LemRank Lens sends, in plain English

We hate tracking too. The extension contains no analytics code. Below is a complete list of every network call it can make.

    What we never collect

    • Analytics SDKs of any kind (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Plausible, no Amplitude).
    • Tracking pixels, beacons, or fingerprinting.
    • The contents of the pages you visit.
    • Your IP address (we never log it).
    • Your identity (no account, no login required).
    • Browser history, cookies, or autofill data.

What we collect when you click "Share"

Sharing is the only action that uploads anything. Until you click it, no data leaves your browser.

    • The audit JSON
Title, meta, canonical, OG/Twitter tags, schema blocks, image and link summaries, SERP simulator output.
    • The page URL
Stored alongside the audit so the public viewer knows what was audited.
    • A random hash
Generated server-side; used in the public link.

    Every network call, listed

    • Daily, in the background
GET https://lemrank.com/extensions/lens/selectors.json — refreshes the SERP DOM selectors so overlays keep working.
    • When you click "Share"
POST to the LemRank backend at /lens/share — uploads the audit JSON and returns a public link.

These are the only outbound requests the extension can initiate. Standard browser requests for the pages you visit are unaffected.

For the underlying MV3 permissions and what would break without each one, see the permissions page .
