The short answer
Ahrefs Starter is $29/mo but does not include Rank Tracker. Tracking begins on Lite at $129/mo with 750 keywords, then Standard at $199/mo for 2,000, Advanced at $399/mo for 5,000 and Enterprise at $999/mo. Credits also limit how much of the suite you can use each month.

- The $29 Starter plan is widely quoted as 'Ahrefs pricing' and contains no rank tracking at all.
- Credits cap usage across the suite, so heavy months can hit limits before the keyword cap does.
- The backlink index is the reason to be here; paying $129/mo for 750 tracked keywords alone is not the value case.

Buy it for link data and Site Explorer. If your requirement is daily positions across a client roster, the tracking tiers are expensive for the allowance.
